The KnowledgeBaseCompanionPlugin is registered on your regular panels and glues them together with your knowledge base.
It renders a "Knowledge base" button in the sidebar, a help menu in the topbar for resources and pages you link with documentation, and lets you open documentation in modals right inside your panel.
