Concorde Caravan Club

Concorde Caravan Club approached us with a requirement to extend their existing website on the Webnode platform to include a private members' section and additional functionality. However, after a deeper analysis, we found that the Webnode platform does not allow the implementation of all the required functionalities (user roles, private gallery, advanced access settings, ...).

Solution

Therefore, we decided to rebuild the entire website in the Laravel framework. It provided the necessary flexibility and scalability. The result is a modern website with these key elements:

• Private members' section

  Each member has their own account and access to a private section where they can share trip tips and articles.

• Forum

  The ability to create topics and discussions, moderate posts, and set user roles.

• Gallery from joint trips

  Members can upload photos, videos, and create albums. Videos and photos are automatically compressed and don't take up much disk space.

• Private e-shop

  Selling club souvenirs and camping equipment directly to members.

• Administration of user roles

  Creating an account for new members. Set permissions and roles (e.g., forum administrator, gallery editor, regular member).

As a bonus, all Concorde Caravan Club members received an exclusive discount on developing their own web or mobile app from us.

Result

Concorde Caravan Club now benefits from a fully functional website that supports community member connection, content management, and its own small e-shop, all within one solution. The new platform has enabled the club to significantly increase interaction between members as well as promote activities to the public.
